Content:  (1st edition 1926) with a chapter on present day Cairns, by Baroness Burton.
This book is dedicated to The Baroness Burton, "a noted, exhibitor, and Judge of Cairns". In
chapter six there is written "whilst in the first years after  the second World WAR 1939" is
the only dating that I found to give age to this book.  It is noted that the very many
illustrations (2 pages of them) are not counted in the original page numbers!   The details of
early Cairns and the clear black and white quality photos make this a treasure, without the
information alone.
