DOGS THAT WORK FOR A LIVING...by Beth Brown
Published by Funk & Wagnalls - NY    1970  this is a first edition - a collector's item.
150 pages,

Condition  Hbs and binding strong as as new.  The original DJ  has attracted some insect damage.
The books had been fumigated  before it came into my possession and again then.  I wanted it
particularly for the great illustrations which show a sympathy for the subject, as well as a very clear
knowledge.  Keeping the DJ for the three illustrations.
Content:  Beth Brown deals with 30 of the "working for a living breeds", and really won me when she
makes small mention of the Lap-dogs that now are recognised for the work they do as companions.
A case of to each his own?
